Pacers rally to beat Pistons 112-105

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A next-man-up mentality is keeping the Indiana Pacers competitive despite a rash of injuries. T.J. McConnell was the key for the Pacers on Friday night in a 112-106 win over the Pistons that moved Indiana above .500 for the first time this season. Playing all but two minutes of the fourth quarter, McConnell, the backup point guard, finished with 17 points, nine assists and five rebounds on a night the Pacers played without four members of their rotation. Justin Holiday chipped in with 16 points ans 6 rebounds as the Pacers got a win. Domantas Sabonis finished with 17 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists in the win. Detroit, which was up by 15 points in the first quarter, were led by Luke Kennard who had 29 point, six rebounds and 5 assists. Andre Drummond finished with 15 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists.
