(LANSING) – Some area student-athletes were named All State for volleyball in 2019. The Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association recently named their All State teams. In Division 4, Julianna Hagenbuch and Anna Smith of Mendon were named First Team All State. Teammate Gracie Russell was selected to the Second Team All State squad. Named Honorable Mention All State was Chloe Cromwell of Athens. In Division 3, First Team All State recognition was given to Joanna Larsen of Centreville; Keona Salesman of Bronson along with Kayla Onken and Andelyn Simkins of Schoolcraft. Second Team All State went to Meagan Lasky of Bronson; and from Schoolcraft Maggie Morris and Anna Schuppel. Third Team All State honors were given to Hannah Duchene of Centreville and Honorable Mention All State was handed out to Madi Tulley of Constantine, Kenleigh West-Wing of Centreville; Alanna Mayer and Skye Woodman of Bronson and from Schoolcraft Kelby Goldschmeding.
