(MARSHALL) - The Sturgis Wrestling Team opened their 2019-20 season Wednesday night with a quad at Marshall. The Trojans came out flat and struggled in the opening dual against Portland losing 72-12. In the second dual, Sturgis beat Ionia 48-28. Oscar Galvan-Perez picked up two wins for Sturgis on the night. Other winners included Julian Alldredge, Justin Burgduff, Lasen Precadio-Newman, Kenny Barrera-Garcia, Owen Brewer, Kenny Munoz, Jeremy Munoz, David Harker and Gage Bail.
