Central Noble boys beat Prairie Heights 76-70 in NECC Tournament Finals
(GARRETT) – It lived up to all the hype. And when the smoke cleared, the Central Noble boys basketball team beat Prairie Heights 76-70 in the NECC Tournament Championship game. Down 29-27 at half time, the Cougars stormed back to get the win behind the shooting of Connor Essegian and Sawyer Yoder, who combined for 13 three pointers on the night. Essigian led the Cougars and all scorers on the night with 34 points. Yoder had 29 points while teammate Logan Gard added 13 points and 7 rebounds. Mike Perkins led the Panthers with 23 points. Elijah Malone had 17 points and Brandon Christlieb had 13 points.
