(INDIANAPOLIS) – The IHSAA boys basketball tournament gets underway the week of March 3 and the pairings have been announced for the Sectional Tournaments. In Class 3A at the NorthWood Sectional, Lakeland has an opening round game against Tippecanoe Valley. The winner will face Wawasee in a semifinal contest. At the Garrett Sectional, Angola received an opening round bye and will face either F.W. Bishop Dwenger or F.W. Concordia. At the Class 2A Sectional at Westview, host Westview plays Prairie Heights in an opening round game. Bremen will face Fairfield and Central Noble takes on Eastside. The Prairie Heights v Westview winner will play Churubusco in a semifinal game. At the Fremont Sectional in Class A, Fremont faces Bethany Christian in an opening round game. The winner gets Lakewood Park in the semifinals. In Class 4A at the Carroll Sectional, East Noble will face DeKalb in an opening round contest. At the Elkhart Central Sectional, Northridge will face Concord in opening round action with the winner getting Elkhart Memorial in the semifinals.
