(LAGRANGE) – A new Athletic Director has been hired by the Lakeland School Corporation. During Monday's meeting, the Lakeland Board of Education approved the hiring of Kyle Grossman to be the new AD. Grossman is a Lakeland graduate and has been the boys and girls tennis coach for the last six years. Outgoing AD Roman Smith says with Grossman's knowledge, experience and approach, he is confident that Lakeland is in great hands. Smith will be training Grossman until the end of June. Smith announced he was stepping down as the Lakeland AD to become an Assistant Athletic Director for the Warsaw School District.
