Sturgis volleyball tops White Pigeon on Senior Night

(STURGIS) – The Sturgis volleyball team was able to have their Senior Night after all. After Plainwell canceled their match, the Lady Trojans were able to get White Pigeon to play and Sturgis picked up the win 3-0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-8). Sturgis celebrated their three seniors; Erika Reed, Sophia Merchant, and Rylee Wanamaker. Reed had 11 kills, 1 block, 2 assists and 10 digs. Sophia Merchant had 5 kills, 1 block and 1 dig while Rylee Wanamaker had 1 kill and 9 digs.
