(DETROIT) – It was a busy Wednesday for the Detroit Pistons. With their first pick in the NBA Draft, the Pistons took point guard Killian Hayes of France. Scouts and draft experts says he has great size for a lead guard at 6-5. He is strong and has the tools to play and defend either guard spot. He is great at changing speeds and directions with the ball. They say Hayes also has scoring potential and is creative as a passer. Scouts says he should be able to have an instant impact if he's in a situation where the ball is in his hands. But they also say there are areas Hayes can make improvements in. They say he struggles with aggressive ball pressure and is average athletically in terms of burst and vertical explosion. He also turned the ball over on 25% of his possessions.
