Host Mendon track teams go 0-2 at Tri-meet

Mendon boys go 0-2 at own track Tri-meet
(MENDON) – The host Mendon boys track team went 0-2 at their own Tri-meet, losing to Centreville 89-42 and to Bloomingdale 75-48. Charlie Newburry won the 400 meters and the 1600 meters for the Hornets. Teammate Tristen Shimel was first in the shot put and Isiah Ibison was first in the discus.

Mendon girls track team goes 1-1 at own Tri-meet
(MENDON) – Mendon's girls track team had a 1-1 day at their own Tri-meet. The Lady Hornets lost to Centreville 99-36 and tied Bloomingdale 67-67. Jozryl Meeks won the 200 meters and the 300 meter hurdles for Mendon. Alivia Stuart took first in the pole vault and was on the winning 400 meter relay team. Keyara Szymanski won the discus and the shot put.
