(MENDON) - Mendon picked up an SCAA West Division boys basketball win by beating visiting Burr Oak 56-39. Matt Gorham says his team's defense was the difference maker in getting the win. Ryder Gorham led the Hornets with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals. Owen Gorham added 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Carter Huston chipped in with 8 points, 2 assists and 3 steals. Braxton Boyles had 18 points and 17 rebounds for the Bobcats. Coen Miller had 13 points and 4 assists. Mendon is now 11-0 overall and 5-0 in the SCAA West Division. Burr Oak is 5-3 and 2-2 in the Division.
