(COLON) - Mendon made the short drive to Colon and beat the host Magi 39-23 in SCAA girls basketball action. Jadyn Samson led the way for the Lady Hornets with 12 points. Rowan Allen had 10 points while Gracie Schultz had 7 points and Cienna Nightingale had 6 points. (LISTEN ABOVE). For Colon Raegan Thaxton had 12 points. Lily Preston had 5 points while Braelyn Thaxton and Madi Kulpinski each had 3 points. Mendon is now 8-2 overall and 5-0 in the SCAA. Colon is 2-6 and 1-3 in the conference.
