(CENTREVILLE) - Nominations are now being accepted for some annual awards.
Glen Oaks Community College and the Glen Oaks Community College Foundation are accepting nominations for the awards they give out each year that recognize outstanding alumni, faculty, staff and community partners.
The awards presented by the Glen Oaks Community College Foundation are: The Distinguished Alumni Award, the Up And Coming Distinguished Alumni Award; and the E.J. Shaheen Chair For Teaching Excellence.
Awards that will be presented by Glen Oaks Community College are: Part-Time Faculty Teaching Excellence Award; the Outstanding Service Award and the President's Academic Award.
Nomination forms, including eligibility and criteria for each award, are available on line.
Forms may also be obtained from the President's Office or the Glen Oaks Foundation Office. All nominations must be submitted to the President's Office by 3 PM on Friday, March 6.
The 2026 Glen Oaks Awards Ceremony will be held at 4 PM on Tuesday April 21 on the Concourse.
