(INDIANAPOLIS) - Counties in Northeast Indiana saw a drop in their unemployment during December.
Information released by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development shows that Steuben County had the largest decrease in unemployment for the month, going from 3.3% to 2.4%.
LaGrange County's unemployment dropped from 2.9% to 2.1%. Noble County saw a dip from 3.1% to 2.5%, DeKalb County when from 3% to 2.4% and Elkhart County went from 3.3% to 2.7%.
Some of the major cities in Northeast Indiana saw their unemployment go down in December. Goshen dropped from 3.4% to 2.6%. Elkhart saw a decrease from 3.5% to 3.1% and Fort Wayne went from 3.3% to 2.7%.
