(STURGIS) - The host Sturgis girls basketball team picked up a win on Senior Night, beating Edwardsburg 63-35 in Wolverine Conference action. Coach Andy Phillips says after a slow first quarter, his team really locked in and got a good win. Sydney Bir led the Lady Trojans with 16 points. Kinder Smith had 15 points and Angela Cary had 14 points. Cora Phillips added 7 points. Sturgis is now 13-2 overall and 9-2 in the Wolverine Conference.
