(BRONSON) - The host Sturgis girls bowling team finished first and the boys second at the Wolverine Conference Championship. The Sturgis girls beat Otsego in the quarterfinals, Edwardsburg in the semifinals and then Three Rivers 3-2 in the Championship match. Overall on the season the Sturgis girls finished second. Miley Holden and Khara Kimes were named First Team All Conference. Brooklyn Moody, Mackenzie Myers and Makenna Holden were All Conference Honorable Mention. The Sturgis boys beat Edwardsburg in the quarterfinals, Niles in the semifinals and then lost to Three Rivers 3-0 in the finals. Overall on the season, the boys finished second. Andrew Matz and Bryce Smoker were named First Team All Conference while Josh Groff was named All Conference Honorable Mention.
