(STURGIS) - In a battle of long time rivals, it was Coldwater controlling the tempo of the game and beating host Sturgis 44-36 in a non conference girls basketball game. Sydney Bir led Sturgis with 9 points. (LISTEN ABOVE). Cora Phillips added 8 points while Kinder Smith and Angela Cary each had 7 points. Addy Bucklin had a game high 12 points to lead Coldwater. Colen Burkhardt added 10 points. Sturgis is now 15-3 on the season while Coldwater is 11-7.
