Corporation officials have announced that Lakeland Jr/Sr High art teacher Leah Fann has been named a recipient of the Scholastic Outstanding Educator Award. This national recognition is particularly meaningful as it is driven by student nominations, highlighting Fann's profound impact on the young artists within her classroom.
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the nation's longest running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens, grants this award to educators who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to their students' creative development.
