(BUTLER TOWNSHIP) - A Quincy man has been arrested on drug related charges following a multi-agency raid in Butler Township.
The Michigan State Police say their Emergency Services Team along with members of the Marijuana and Tobacco Tax Investigation Section executed the search warrant Wednesday in the 900 block of Clarendon Road.
At the property was 50 year old Paul James Keasler. While searching the grounds, officers found 364 marijuana plants which is above the legal limit of 12 that Keasler is allowed to have. They also found a butane hash oil extraction lab, along with approximately 20 grams of psilocybin mushrooms in a safe, and several hundred rounds of ammunition located in a camper which is owned by Keasler. As a convicted felon, he is not allowed to have the ammunition.
As the investigation continued, officers found evidence of a commercial enterprise, that was operating under the brand of "Extraction King Michigan". They also located THC gummies, branded vape cartridges, and some business cards that said the owner was "Jamie", which is a nickname used for Keasler.
He was arrested on multiple charges including possession with intent to deliver, possession of psilocybin, manufacturing of butane hash oil and being a felon in possession of ammunition.
Keasler is being held in the Branch County Jail. Bond is set at $25,000.
