(CENTREVILLE) - Glen Oaks Community College celebrated student achievement and honored outstanding faculty, staff and alumni recently.
On Tuesday, Glen Oaks held their annual awards ceremony, handing out a series of prestigious awards that recognized excellence, service and leadership across the Glen Oaks Community.
Receiving the Outstanding Service Award was Levi Gowan. The Fellows Award was presented to Dr. Teresa Belote while the Distinguished Alumni Award was given to Mick Kolassa. The Part-Time Faculty Teaching Excellence Award went to Abby Hurles, and the E.J. Shaheen Chair for Teaching Excellence was awarded to Melissa Blair.
