Sturgis baseball splits DH, gets first win

(DOWAGIAC) - The Sturgis baseball team split a non conference double header with Dowagiac, getting their first win of the season by beating the Chieftains 21-12, and then losing 5-1. Camden Duffy got the win in game one, going 6 innings, giving up 9 hits and striking out 4. Carter Oswald and Julien Lambright both had 3 doubles in game one and Brayden Bibb had 2 doubles. Sturgis is now 1-11.
