Each December, more than 400,000 pieces of mail arrive in the tiny town, all seeking the famous "Santa Claus" cancellation cherished by collectors and families alike. Postal officials remind everyone to send cards early to ensure the festive stamp makes it onto envelopes before Christmas delivery deadlines.
