(INDIANAPOLIS) - Unemployment rates when up around Northeast Indiana from May to June.
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development says LaGrange County saw an increase in unemployment from 2.8% to 3.3%. Noble County grew from 3.1% to 3.5%. Elkhart County went from 3.5% to 3.8%. Steuben County had an increase from 3.1% to 3.4% while DeKalb County grew from 2.9% and 3.2%.
In addition, some Northeast Indiana cities also saw unemployment increases.
Elkhart grew from 3.6% to 4.1% as did Goshen. Fort Wayne saw their unemployment increase from 3.1% to 3.5%.
