(STURGIS) - The Sturgis volleyball team won their season opener, beating visiting White Pigeon 3-0 (25-18, 25-11, 25-21). New head coach Sarah Arreola says her girls played well for their first match. Cora Phillips had 5 kills for the Lady Trojans while Madelyn Oswald and Kendall Oxender each had 2 kills.
