(EDWARDSBURG) - Defense and rebounding were the keys to the Sturgis girls basketball team bouncing back from their first loss on Tuesday to beat host Edwardsburg 35-30 in Wolverine Conference action. Cora Phillips led the way for the Lady Trojans with 15 points. Angela Cary added 14 points and Kinder Smith had 6 points on the night. Sturgis improves to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the Wolverine Conference. JV won 54-4 now 3-1 and 2-1.
