(UNDATED) – A member of the Branch County Sheriff’s Office has received a special degree.

Sheriff John Pollack says Deputy Josh Olney graduated from the Washtenaw Community College Police Academy on September 8. Olney is following in the law enforcement footsteps of his father and his grandfather.

Deputy Olney is set to begin his tour of duty this week, entering the Field Officer Training phase.
