(CENTREVILLE) – Two organizations will be working together to enforce local speed limits.

St. Joseph County Undersheriff Jason Bingaman says his department will work with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to add extra patrols from August 23 to September 30. The main focus will be speed enforcement.

The extra patrols will be funded through the Office Of Highway Safety Planning.
