(HOMER) – The White Pigeon volleyball team had a good showing at the Homer “Nikki Blatter” Invitational, going 3-1 on the day. In pool play the Lady Chiefs beat Dansville, Springport and Camden-Frontier, earning them the second seed in bracket play. However, White Pigeon lost to Dansville in the bracket play. On the day Ellie McBride had 27 kills and 36 digs. Sadie McDaniel added 15 kills, 7 blocks and 8 digs while Shelby McDaniel had 13 kills and 5 digs. Mable Post chipped in with 10 kills and 34 digs while Layla Abner had 3 assists, 4 aces and 45 digs. Ellie McBride was selected to the All Tournament Team.
