Sturgis girls beat host Niles 50-33

(NILES) – Down 8-0 in the first quarter, the Sturgis girls basketball stormed back to beat host Niles 50-33 in Wolverine Conference action. Cora Phillips led the Lady Trojans with 17 points. Sydney Bir added 14 points while Madison Webb had 10 points. With the win, Sturgis improves to 2-2 overall and 1-2 in the Wolverine Conference.
