(EDWARDSBURG) – The Sturgis boys and girls cross country were in action at the Edwardsburg Tri-Meet. The Lady Trojans beat Vicksburg (17-44) and Edwardsburg (21-34). Berkley Holtz was first overall for the Lady Trojans (20:06). Teammate Sydney Bir was second (20:52) and Tessa Hatt was third (21:37). In the boys meet, Sturgis beat Vicksburg (27-28) and lost to Edwardsburg (21-38). Niko Morales was ninth in a lifetime best performance time of 18:44. Nolan Park was third (17:32) and Micaiah Arreola was eighth (18:42). The Sturgis girls are now 6-1 in the Wolverine Conference and the boys are 3-4.
