Colon volleyball wins Athens Tournament

(ATHENS) – The Colon volleyball team won the Athens Tournament over the weekend. In pool play, the Lady Magi lost to Centreville but beat Reading, Calhoun Christian, Jackson Christian. Then in bracket play, Colon beat Reading again and then beat Centreville in the finals (2-0). Amaya Johnson had 59 assists, 13 digs and 8 kills and 7 aces on the day. Braelyn Thaxton added 21 digs, 6 kills and 5 aces. Raegan Thaxton had 36 kills, 5 aces and 10 digs
