(ELKHART COUNTY) – Minor injuries were reported in a two vehicle collision.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office, 43 year old Paul Pinkowski of Warsaw had stopped his vehicle in the southbound lane of State Road 15 at the intersection of U.S. 6 just after 4 PM Thursday. He was struck from behind by 19 year old Makera Newsome of North Webster. Newsome says her brakes failed.

Newsome complained of pain in a finger on her left hand, but refused any medical attention.
