(COLDWATER) – Street work is starting today in Coldwater.
City officials say crews will start micro surfacing streets today and move through several sections of Coldwater.
People who live on the streets that will be micro surfaced will be getting a construction notice door hanger. There will also be additional instructions that will be sent out prior to work being done on each street.
The roads that will be micro surfaced are South Sprague Street from the bridge to East Garfield; Washington Street from Elm to South Clay Street; South Monroe Street from West Park Avenue to West Pearl Street; North Clay Street from Harrison Street to U.S. 12; North Hanchett Street from Harrison Street to U.S. 12; Henry Street from Munson Street to North Polk Street; and Thompson Boulevard from Pillsbury Street to Seeley Street.
City officials are asking residents to please avoid parking on the street where work is being done. Also drive carefully and avoid the area if at all possible and no turns or sharp breaking within 24 hours after the treatment has been done.
