(CONSTANTINE) – The Constantine Village Council has hired a consultant to evaluate the village.

The Council voted unanimously to hire Bontrager for 60 days to do his evaluation and report back to them.

The idea of hiring a consultant came following the announcement that Mark Honeysett was retiring as Village Manager February 28, 2026. The question brought up by some Council members is does Constantine still need a Village Manager or should they look at another form of leadership.
