(BRONSON) – The 2025 and 55th Bronson Polish Festival kicked off its weekend run with the Opening Ceremonies Thursday in the St. Mary’s Gym.

Part of the Opening Ceremonies is the naming of the Royal Court. The 2025 Royal Court is King Tony Hyska; Queen Connie Rumsey; Prince Carter Sikorski; Princess Sophia Reed; Jr. Prince Camden Losinski and Jr. Princess Brinley Losinski.

Rumsey says she was very surprised to be named the Polish Festival Queen this year. ...... {LISTEN}.

Hyska says he’s heard talk about him being the Polish Festival King, but never paid too much attention. ...... {LISTEN}.

Today’s activities include Kids Day events will be taking place until 12 PM in Douglas Park. Polish Food will be available at several locations around Bronson and there will be craft and food vendors in downtown Bronson.

At 1 PM there will be free kids rides and games in the Library Parking Lot, and then the kids pedal pulls at 2 PM.

Starting at 5 PM there will be Bingo under the pavilion in downtown Bronson and the First Congregational Church will be serving their turkey and Polish sausage dinner.

At 6 PM the men’s softball tournament starts in Greenwald Park and the co-ed tournament starts at 6 PM as well at Kiwanis Park. There will be a chipped time 5K race, 5K walk and kids fun run at Bronson High School.

The Parking Lot Party featuring The Funkles starts at 7 PM behind Smitty’s Pizza.

At dusk fireworks will light up the sky at Bronson High School.
