Sturgis girls swim team second at B.C. Central Invitational

(BATTLE CREEK) – The Sturgis girls swim team finished second at the B.C. Central Invitational with 240 points on the day. The Lady Trojans had 13 first place finishes on the day, including the 200 freestyle relay of Brooklyn Draper, Ainsley Gump, Lilly Whitehead and Katelyn Halling. Draper was also first in the 200 freestyle, while Gump was first in the 200 IM and the 100 backstroke, where she had another State Cut in a time of 1:03.74. Halling also took first place in the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle. Maddilyn Weiderman won the 200 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke.
